1 Absalom Autrey, born about 1740 in Edgecombe County, North Carolina.  Died 1827 in St. Clair County, Alabama.  Married Mary Lucy Naomi Camp, born about 1750 . Note: Absalom Autrey was with David Fanning and shot Colonel Andrew Balfour on March 10, 1782.


2 Cornelius Autrey, born about 1770 in North Carolina.   Died 1847 in Perry County, Alabama.  Married ___?___

3 Absalom Autrey, born April 11, 1802 in North Carolina.  Died February 11, 1885 in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana. Died 82 years 10 months and 3 days
Autrey Family Graveyard, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana, highway 152 1 mile west of Dubach, Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
Married his 2nd Wife, Elizabeth Norris, on February 22, 1826 in Alabama.  She was born January 16, 1810 in Kentucky. Died July 22, 1860 in Union Parish (now Lincoln Parish), Louisiana.

4 Celia Autrey, born March 22, 1838 in Perry County, Alabama. Died 1908 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.
Married William Jackson Field about 1860. He was born October 01, 1828 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana. Died March 03, 1906 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.


5 Martha Idella Field, born August 31, 1864 in Arcadia, Bienville, Louisiana. Died March 25, 1928 in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana near Arcadia, Louisiana.  Married Thomas Lane Rogers on November 1, 1883.  He was born  b: May 17, 1861 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana.  Died November 9, 1947 in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.

6 Esther Idella Rogers, born September 08, 1884. Died June 8, 1954 in Arcadia, Bienville, Louisiana.
Married George Bell Beard (the descendant of Colonel Andrew Balfour) in 1903 in Arcadia, Louisiana.  He was born December 23, 1875 in Louisiana.  Died February 16, 1920 in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.

(Thus, we have a Balfour version of Romeo and Juliet.)
